A lot of people try AI once, get a so-so answer, and decide it isn't for them. What they don't realise is that the first answer was never meant to be the finished product. It's a rough draft, and the skill is in what you say next.
Think of it like working with a junior colleague. You wouldn't throw their first draft in the bin and say they're useless. You'd say "that's a good start, make it shorter", or "a bit warmer please", or "can you try a different angle?". AI works exactly the same way, and it never gets fed up of being asked to try again. You can say "less formal", "add a real example", "cut it in half" or "make the opening stronger" as many times as you like.
By the third or fourth exchange you'll usually have something far better than you'd have written alone, in a fraction of the time. So next time you get a mediocre reply, don't give up. Just tell it what you'd like changed, in plain English, and watch it improve.
