What a day in the life of an AI Academy franchisee actually looks like

One of the questions people ask most often about franchising is a simple one. What does the day actually look like? Not the brochure version โ€” the real version. So here it is.

Monday morning

You start the week by checking your enquiry pipeline. You have got three people who registered interest last week after seeing your LinkedIn posts โ€” two from a local networking event you attended on Thursday, one who found you through the website. You send a WhatsApp message to each of them suggesting a quick call this week.

You spend an hour on your own AI practice. One of the things that makes AI Academy franchisees good at what they do is that they stay genuinely current. You are not teaching from slides you built six months ago โ€” you are using the tools every day, and that shows.

Tuesday

You run a morning workshop. Six local business owners in a meeting room at the local hotel โ€” a mix of a bookkeeper, a personal trainer, two estate agents, a solicitor, and someone who runs a small landscaping company. By 12 o'clock, all six of them have something working that they did not have at 9am. The solicitor is slightly gobsmacked by how much time she has been wasting on emails. The personal trainer has already planned his next month of Instagram content. You field questions over coffee for another twenty minutes.

In the afternoon you follow up with the three people from Monday โ€” two of them book discovery calls. One books directly into a 1:1 session.

Wednesday

A 1:1 session with a client you have been working with for three weeks. She runs a small HR consultancy and is now using Claude Projects across her entire client workflow. Today you are building out her proposal writing system and helping her set up a client reporting process that saves her about four hours a week. She mentions that she has told two colleagues about you.

Thursday

Networking. You go to a local business breakfast โ€” twenty or so business owners, an hour and a half. You are not pitching. You are having conversations. When AI comes up โ€” and it always comes up โ€” you are the person in the room who actually knows what they are talking about. Two people ask for your card. One asks if you do group sessions.

In the afternoon you work on your own marketing โ€” a LinkedIn post about something interesting you spotted in AI this week, an email to your list, and a quick update to your Google Business profile.

Friday

Admin and prep. You update your CRM, review your pipeline, and plan next week's outreach. You send session notes to this week's 1:1 clients. You check in with Phil โ€” a quick WhatsApp exchange about a question that came up in Tuesday's workshop and a heads up about a new AI feature that is worth adding to your next session.

You finish at 2pm. You have three workshops booked for next week, two 1:1 sessions, and a full pipeline of warm leads. You are building something.

The honest version

Not every week looks like this, especially early on. The first few months are heavier on the outreach and lighter on the delivery. Building a client base takes consistent effort โ€” networking, following up, showing up. But the model works, the demand is real, and the people you help genuinely appreciate it.

If this sounds like a working week you would enjoy, the franchise conversation is worth having.
